North Block Complex donated 25 new computers to Belfast Academy School during the year. The mine’s partnership with the school started some 11 years ago when it sponsored the school’s first computer centre as part of its social responsibility programme. Noting how well the school had maintained the first 17 computers, the mine management team decided to upgrade the entire centre.
