Dr Con Fauconnier retired as chief executive ofﬁcer and director of Exxaro on 31 August 2007, after which Sipho Nkosi assumed ofﬁce. Mavuso Msimang was appointed to the board on 28 February 2007 and resigned on 28 May 2007 due to business commitments. Nonkululeko Nyembezi-Heita resigned with effect from 29 February 2008.
